About me
Hi, I'm V — and this is Far From Home.
A few years ago, I packed my life into a suitcase and moved abroad — full of excitement, dreams, and questions I didn't yet know how to answer.
Living far from home taught me more than I ever expected: about resilience, about belonging, and about what it really means to start again.
The distance was beautiful, but it was also challenging. There were moments of loneliness, doubt, and quiet growth — the kind that happens when no one's watching.
And somewhere in between the change and the chaos, I began to understand that home isn't always a place. Sometimes, it's something we build within ourselves.
created Far From Home as a space for anyone navigating change — whether you've moved abroad, started over, or simply found yourself in an unfamiliar chapter of life.
Here, I share reflections on:
🌿 Personal growth and mindset
🧠 Mental health and self-awareness
✈️ Life abroad and the search for belonging
My goal is to remind you that even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming, you are not alone — and that distance, in all its forms, can become a teacher.
You'll find honest stories, small lessons, and gentle reminders to slow down and reconnect — with yourself, your journey, and the world around you.
Some days it's about peace. Other days it's about purpose.
But always, it's about becoming.
A note from me
If you've ever felt far from home — in place, in purpose, or in spirit — I hope this space feels like a soft landing.
Because even far from home, you can still find your way back to yourself.
With warmth,
V
